Here at Just Breathe we want your yoga experience to be most beneficial to your body, mind and spirit. We offer professional qualified instructors that will help you find the best class for your individual needs, guide you through the practice safely while creating better alignment in your body so that our nervous system can return to a calm, more balance state. Instructors at Just Breathe Yoga & Bodyworks have dedicated themselves to at least a 200 hour teaching training program that is affiliated with the Yoga Alliance or they are participating in a 200 hour teacher training program currently. We are committed to our practice of yoga and want to help you reach your goals as well.
Beginner Yoga is taught in 6 or 8 weeks series to prepare the student to enter into one of our regular scheduled classes. New students can be intimidated to walk into a ongoing class and find themselves more comfortable is a class that starts with the basics. In this class we build a foundation for your practice. The new student will learn: basic yoga postures and alignment for maximum benifit, how to adapt a pose for their body, how to practice safely, how to use props as well as breathing practices.
GENTLE BEGINNER - A GREAT PLACE TO START
This class is designed for the student that wants or needs to move at a slower pace. Many props are provided to allow the poses to be more assessible to all students. This class is suitable for all levels of practice. Each student will be accomodated according to their individual needs. No experience is required.
A great place to start if your schedule doesn't allow for a beginner series. This is a basic practice that will build strength and stamina, flexibilty,breathing techniques and build concentration skills. Standing poses, forward bends, gentle backbends, twists and preparation for inversions are practiced. Suitable for all levels of practice.
This class is for the student that has been practicing for at least 3 months in a Level 1 class. Practice includes Sun Salutations, standing postures, forward bends, backbends, twist and inversions. Be sure to tell instructor of any physical challenges so they may make appropriate adjustments.
Students at different levels of practice from beginner to the seasoned practitioner.
This practice is designed to restore the nervous system. A gentle, calming practice that uses props to support the body as it eases into relaxation and balance. Suitable for all.-
YOGA WITH A CHAIR
A great class for those that need a little extra support during their practice. It is ideal for the student working with injuries, limited range of motion and physical challenges.Suitable for all.
